Marcella is a member of an elite group of Residential Interior Designers who passed the National CQRID Exam earning her the coveted nationally certified interior design professional credentials to become an IDS Professional level member of the Interior Design Society. She is CQRID Certified by the Council for Qualification of Residential Interior Designers.

As a winner of countless design awards, Marcella focuses on interior solutions that are comfortable, flexible and green sensitive. She introduces the appropriate furnishings and accessories from style periods that work best to complement the client's existing collections. Her ability to work with the client's specific taste, personal style and color signature, and budget has earned her a devoted following during her thirty year career in Charlotte.

Influenced by her travels all over the world, Marcella Davis-Burks, Professional IDS, has refined the instinct and experience that enables her to incorporate elements of diverse styles into rooms of incomparable taste and beauty.

Marcella has her degree in Art & Design with advanced design and historic studies in this country and abroad. She is a National Trainer for both Design Techniques & Solutions and CQRID designers aspiring to achieve their Professional status in the Interior Design field. Marcella serves as a Committee Adviser and Interior Design Specialist Instructor for the Interior Design Program at CPCC - Central Piedmont Community College.
